Job DescriptionSummary: The Senior Team Leader of WWRDG Equipment Procurement leads and manages the equipment procurement team within the WWRDG Pipeline Pillar to meet the equipment needs for new store projects. This role oversees the end-to-end equipment procurement process, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices within a project-based environment.This role is based in Austin, TX or one of our operational area offices in Chicago, Jersey City NJ, Waltham MA, Atlanta GA or Ft Lauderdale FL, with an expectation of being in the field or store support office five days a week, or combination of both. Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage the equipment procurement team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
Conduct regular team meetings, set performance goals, and monitor team progress to ensure project objectives are met.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, encouraging team growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Provides overall leadership and direction to equipment buyers for new stores and support of existing stores.
Allocates work and delegates projects.
Ensures regional compliance with equipment contracts to maintain the consistency that supports global merchandising, food safety, and other global programs.
Manages the equipment budget for new stores and provides accurate real-time updates throughout the project to necessary stakeholders.
Works with Décor / Design team to understand regional differentiation and how that affects equipment procurement.
Works across projects to ensure effective coordination, budget management, task completion, and communication of progress, status, and issues to relevant leadership and other stakeholders.
Provides equipment recommendations based on feedback from store team members and regional leadership.
Addresses escalated equipment issues and concerns adhering to food safety, ergonomics or regional/national standards.
Provides project close-out feedback and ensures identification, communication, and future application of lessons learned and best practices.
Attend design sessions with architects and the construction operations team.
Attend project construction meetings.
Serves as support and equipment point person for stores in construction.
Professional Knowledge:
Advanced understanding of equipment used in the grocery industry and in WWRDG.
Expert ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor projects.
Advanced ability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers.
Advanced ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder deadlines.
Advanced understanding of construction project management methodologies regarding fixturing, during planning and installation.
Advanced ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor projects.
Advanced ability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers.
Advanced ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Blue Beam and/or Adobe Acrobat.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Ability to physically perform general office requirements and those required on construction sites.
This position may require travel up to 40%
Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 7-10 years of procurement experience, particularly in equipment procurement for retail or construction, with a minimum of 3 years in a team leadership role.
Skills: Proficiency in procurement and project management software, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance tracking.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
