Job Description:

The Service Delivery Consultant Software Contract Analyst is a member of the Software License Compliance (SliC) team within the Global Technology Change and Third Party team.The primary goal of the SLiC team is to mature the Bank's processes and tools to ensure software license compliance to contractual requirements and the team is focused on identifying, escalating, monitoring, and preventing commercial software risk. This role is accountable for performing contract reviews, interpreting contract language into software compliance actions, and ensuring accurate data is processed into the software compliance SOR - FNMS in support of compliance monitoring of software products.

Responsibilities including (not limited to):

  • Actively participate in Contract identification, review, and extraction of key license information, including terms & conditions, user rights, license metrics, and limitations of use.
  • Review, extract and upload contract terms & conditions, user rights, license metrics, and limitations of use
  • Document contractual relationship of vendor and overview (Ariba Tree)
  • Document internal BofA data elements (EARC ID)
  • Complete Contract Review template with applicable information identified with the above
  • Liaison with sourcing to review contract limitations of use (LOU) escalations with Global Procurement
  • Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results
  • Has extensive functional or professional knowledge
  • Interacts extensively with internal or external contacts to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems including interpretation issues with the bank Legal team
  • Collect and review EULA for Vendor purchases without contracts
  • Participate in driving process improvements

Desired Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Software Asset Management or contract compliance
  • Knowledge of Procurement software contracts negotiation, software sourcing and/or software procurement including purchase orders
  • Knowledge of software compliance tools, specifically Flexera, BMC Discovery, Microsoft CM
  • Ability to read software contracts and identify relevant terms and conditions as they relate to the software license compliance
