Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretJob Family: Data ScienceGDIT is seeking a SharePoint Online Data Engineer to provide support on our Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS) contract. NOTE: This position is contingent upon a potential upcoming contract award with a tentative award date in the Fall 2022 / Winter 2023.Responsibilities include the following:Functions as a technicalresourceacross multiple project teams and across functional units (where appropriate), whileassisting with coordinationbetween customers and project teams to document and implement new initiatives

Providesappliedsubject matter knowledge to high level analysis, collection, assessment,migration,design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation, and implementation.

Assists with resolvingproblems requiringappliedknowledge of the related technical subject matter.

Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.

Assists inSharePoint implementation of environment and sitestructure,STIG application and system hardening,andfile system structures

Assists with engineering implementation ofnew solutions approved for integration into the O365 environment as pertains to SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business

Assessesanddocumentscustomerenvironmentsin preparation for migrations of their current SharePoint, OneDrive, and File shares into O365 and SharePoint Online

Workswithproject teamto plan, document, and perform migrations ofcustomerdatainto SharePoint Online, Teams, andOneDrivefor Business

Assistswith testing, management, and reporting ofnew and existingcapabilities inSharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business

Participates in team andcustomerinteractions, withoversightfrommore senior team members, toanalyze,design, and documentSharePoint solutionsand architecturesuited to specific business needsand processes

Providesresponses for other team members in support of end user support requests as needed

Required Qualifications:Active DoD Secret clearance

Current 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)

BA/BS in Computer Scienceorrelated field(OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree)

8years of SharePoint engineering experience

Expertisein Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 environmentswith emphasis on SharePoint Online (SPO)

Expertisewith Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016 On-Prem,OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams

Proficiencywith multiple SharePoint assessment and migration tools (i.e.AvePoint, Metalogix, etc.)

Proficiency with migrations into SharePoint Online

Experience with PowerShell scripting in support of SharePoint management and migrations

Analytical andproblemsolvingskills

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

Solid work ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environmentindependently and as part of a team
