DescriptionDuties and responsibilities included

Maintain inbound truck scheduling.

Verify correctness of incoming shipments against bill of lading (BOL) and maintain records of receiving.

Prepare receiving documents and securing mill test reports for inbound material.

Scan and file receiving documents and test reports.

Post inbound receipts.

Route incoming goods or materials to correct locations.

Reject damaged or incorrect goods or materials and take proper steps to adjust for damages or shortages.

Monitor receiving reports to ensure accuracy and coordination with purchased material.

Advise appropriate sales or leadership members when specific items are received.

Build loads.

Print and file bill of lading (BOL) and shipping documents.

Schedule scrap for pick-up and entering scrap orders.

Print and label orders from customer shipment entry.

Entering information into customer portals, as necessary.

Package orders, as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

2+ years working in a shop or manufacturing setting.

Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.

Experience with ERP system required.

Able to work in a high-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

Speak conversational English.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 20-50lbs. repetitively throughout the course of a shift

Ability to bend, sit, stand, twist, and stoop for long periods of time

Ability to walk 2-5 miles throughout the course of a shift

Have good vision 20/30 with corrective lenses

Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects of precision.

Subject to environmental conditions that occur indoors and outdoors which includes but is not limited to exposure to changing temperatures, loud noises and vibration from use of equipment and the following:

Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.

Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin fumes, odor, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.

Oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
