Odyssey is working with a Houston area, Cloud-based, Digital tech firm to find an experienced SIEM Security Engineer to join the team. This person will be focusing on Azure Sentinel cloud solutions and will have at least 6 months of recent experience acting as a SME for this product. The goal is to expand the capabilities of the tool within the environment. This is an immediate need!You will be working in a hybrid environment - in the office on Tuesday and Thursday and remotely on MWF.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of IT security or related work experience, with 3 years of SIEM platform, network, and Cloud Security work experience required
- Strong experience in SIEM technologies, with minimum 6 months experience with Azure Sentinel required
- College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- Experience in executing IT Security processes, including Information Protection, Configuration / Vulnerability Management, System Auditing / Logging, and Identity and Access Management
- Experience in automation development and DevOps practices preferred
- Experience in management of Vulnerability Assessments and IT Security Audits preferred
- One or more of the security or technology-specific certifications required
- Expertise in implementing controls based on strong knowledge of cloud service best practices
- Experience with the following IT Security Frameworks: SOC 2 Type II, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), and ISO 27001 / 27002
