SRE Engineer position with our client. Title: SRELocation: : Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Plano, TXDuration: Long Term Initial Remote for 1 – 2 months - HybirdClient is looking at 2 to 3 Seniors SRE’s who understand the observability with Telemetry from end to end and which includes the following phasesInstrumentation : Expected to talk to different stakeholders right from Instrumentation in the Applications ( adding relevant libraries which would help collecting the data - metrics/logs/traces) to Visualization .The applications might include Microservices deployed in Kubernetes.Collect and Ship : Tools collecting the metrics/traces/logs that are emitted from the Applications . This is where , tools come into picture . Grifana stack (LogsàLoki/Logstash, Tempoà Traces, Metrics à Prometheus). Candidates should be experienced in these tools and not necessary only these .Storing Process: After the tools generate the relevant artifacts , where and how do you store the data . This should include ability to aggregate the logs, traces and metrics, collation, identifying the source for the artifacts.Visualization : Most of the Tools like Grafana , Splunk has the ability to interpret the data to visualize them in the dashboards. Configuring alerts to understand the health of the environment if it breaches the SLA.
