Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.Job Summary:RiverTech will provide IT support for the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) Working Dog Management System (WDMS), in the cloud, and will maintain and sustain both WDMS main system and WDMS software sustainment lab.Job Responsibilities:The Software Developer' s responsibilities include:Implement sustainment/maintenance solutions using designated programming languages (primarily ColdFusion, currently) within the Cloud environment, specifically Azure.
Requirements Management – The contractor shall track all documented requirements and trace them through implementation, testing and each release.
Provide software sustainment support.
Review monthly Microsoft security releases for their applicability to security forces software system WDMS and make necessary changes to the program to make it compliant and update any applicable system documentation.
Provide technical support for web server set up to include loading of operating systems and deployment of operational software.
Review, define, and validate requests to modify current software application modules to ensure sustainability of the system.
Design, develop, and document any software applications for the purpose of correcting existing errors using ColdFusion, and /or any development tools in accordance with AFSFC Systems Engineering Process (SEP).
Provide in-house testing to include all phases of testing, such as unit testing, integration testing, function and system testing (IAW AFSFC SEP) of all sustainment or maintenance of security forces web-based software.
Provide technical support for Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs), application releases, and patch upgrades.
Provide ad hoc software application support and database maintenance actions necessary to keep the current system operational.
Provide graphic design capabilities using various software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, etc., in support of web design, newsletters, and other graphical support as required by the customer in support of all web-based applications.
Must complete 40 supplemental training hours annually. This supplemental training must include elements of cybersecurity as well as programming or software language. The cybersecurity training must be in addition to annual cybersecurity user awareness training. Topics may consist of: cybersecurity principles, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, or secure coding.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Must be able and willing to obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to start (U.S. citizenship required).
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or High School Diploma/GED with at least four (4) years relevant work experience.
Minimum one (1) year of experience with ColdFusion programming language.
Minimum one (1) year of experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript.
Desired Qualifications:Must be able to communicate clearly - both written and orally - with customers and associated staff in group presentations and meetings.
Must be able to complete required contract deliverables on time/schedule as prescribed by contract.
Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.
