Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to help build our Smart Scheduling platform of the future. We are on an exciting journey of building a full stack platform for our customers, primarily in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality software and allowing us to provide our current and upcoming line of products readily available to delight our customers. You are responsible for ensuring timely execution of new development, applications meet Client Requirements, and ease of deployment for Clients and Project Management Team. This is a remote position and will report to the Scheduling Software Development Team Manager in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Member of Development team responsible for INFICON/IMS industry leading Scheduling Product
  • Develop improved features/capabilities to support existing client deployments
  • Develop completely new derivative roadmap products to allow penetration of new markets
  • Generate new feature ideas for applications you routinely support
  • Develop tools to test your features, improve continual integration tools, and deployment tools
  • Communicate with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
  • Provide best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
  • Support product deployments via consulting/training on application features if required
  • Write technical documentation and support Project Manager's writing User Documentation

Required Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C, or C# including object-oriented design.

Required Skills:
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals like Problem Solving, Data Structures, Algorithms and Complexity Analysis
  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Functional Programing, and modeling skills
  • Agile Software Development methodology
  • Experience with BitBucket and GIT tools
  • Excellent technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts.
