Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Principal Level Software Development Analyst. This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement changes/enhancements for SAP Material Management (MM) within multiple SAP landscapes utilizing ABAP, Workflow, Adobe Forms, UI5 Fiori technology adhering to IT standards.
  • Actively participate in the full software development cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and implementation).
  • Perform defect resolution including debugging complex SAP MM scenarios.
  • Participate in project quality management tasks, such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with other team members and business partners to drive process and system improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical specifications for all SAP development work.
  • Maintenance of the SAP (ECC, S/4) application environment through proactive incident root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Provide technical input to projects delivering SAP ERP changes to support project planning and estimation process.
  • Research new and emerging software solutions and technology released by SAP.
  • Review and analyze existing business processes for improvements and efficiencies as well as develop new processes and solutions to meet or exceed business requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
  • At least 5 or more years of experience in SAP ABAP/UI5 Fiori application development (ECC or S/4 HANA).
  • Have working knowledge of Business Application Studio, SAP WebIDE, or Eclipse tool.
  • Possess in-depth technical knowledge in SAP development and testing, and full knowledge of the development lifecycle including implementation and production support processes.
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP Modules working with SAP HANA and/or SAP ECC.
  • 5+ years of experience or exposure with development languages/technologies: SAP ABAP, SAP PI, SAP UI5 Fiori, Java, HTML5, Fiori Launchpad, SAP Gateway, CDS Views, OData, API.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ABAP development concepts, best practices, and SAP architecture
  • Must have great attention to detail and be able to successfully manage competing priorities.
  • Strong technical/analytical skills and provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, desire to continuously learn and drive to contribute to a high-performing team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing system interfaces and integration solutions utilizing APIs, LSMW and different integration tools such as SAP PI.
  • Experience or understanding of multiple integration technologies such as API, REST, SOAP, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC and XML.
  • Working knowledge of version control and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with workflow development and Adobe forms.
  • Knowledge of data tables and relational database structures.
  • Good knowledge and experience with SAP MM creating a purchase requisition, purchase orders, vendor master and goods receipts to a purchase orders
  • Knowledge of SAP MM (Purchasing) user exits and enhancement points
  • Good understanding of SAP MM functional business processes within the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Experience with or knowledge of UI/UX principles.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.)
  • Participate in agile-driving development using Scrum and/or Kanban Boards.
  • SAP, Agile or other technical certifications including SAP HANA, ABAP, SAP Gateway, and Scaled Agile Framework
  • Experience with or knowledge in software development process using other languages (C, C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, etc.).

Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
