Collaborate with hardware architects and Program Managers to verify new Azure hardware.
Solve mission critical problems relating to our services by building SW automation.
Design, develop, and deliver software that measures and improves the quality of Azure hardware that exceeds customer expectations.
Identify and fix or drive fixes for systemic issues, influence and create new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
Prototype, incubate, and pilot new initiatives as our business grows.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools such as Azure DevOps.
Experience in owning end-to-end project lifecycle.
Experience in data mining, statistics, mathematics is a plus.
Ability to perform technical deep dives into service design, operating systems, networking, and storage systems.
Demonstrable business results working across multiple teams, building distributed systems, and remastering legacy codebases.
Previous knowledge of Preboot execution environment (PXE), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
Previous experience working with any cloud services such as azure web apps.
