- Senior software engineer with experience in Hadoop, Hive and Scala to enhance and support Google PSO-built tools for enterprise cloud migration.
- Team member is responsible for developing and supporting Google Tools (bespoke software products custom-built) for Teradata to BigQuery migration.
- Role requires strong programming and development skills requiring experience in Hadoop, Hive, Java, Scala and Google Cloud Platform.
- Responsibilities include supporting customer conversations for requirements gathering, providing technical updates and development status during customer's working hours (CST).
- Responsible for supporting communications to customer and Google for any feature releases, Production incidents, RCAs, hot-fix deployments, and all associated technical documentation as deliverables.Minimum experience: 5+ years with Hadoop, Hive, Scala/Java
