About This Opportunity Responsibilities Software Engineer II - iOS Overview 7-Eleven is looking for a Softwarer Engineer II - iOS to join the Digital Technology Team. You're joining a multidisciplinary team of product managers, marketers, designers and engineers who create digital products that hundreds of thousands of people experience every day. About the job: Must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in iOS application developme nt with Swift . This includes actively participating in designing, developing, r eviewing, testing and releases iOS apps for iPhone and iPad to drive our digital products . 7-Eleven's mobile first strategy enables a wide range of product offerings that touch all aspects of convenience including ; M obile F uel P ay, M obile C heckout, Product Delivery, and more. Work in an environment of cutting-edge application architecture, using latest Apple API's for application modularization and performance enhancements . The 7-Eleven app is always being updat ed with latest Swift offerings. We are the first iOS application to implement Sirikit in convenience to let users fuel their vehicles using a voice assistant . About you: You have a passion for c ode and putting the customer first and delivering an exceptional experience through the creation of extendable and re-usable products. Responsibilities - Executes full product lifecycle (inception through deprecation) to create reliable and flexible iOS apps bound for th e iOS AppStore and retail customer's devices.
- Collaborates with other Engineers, Creative/UX designers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Business Analys ts and Architects .
Qualifications Qualifications - Expert in iOS App Development on Swift
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Experience working with UIKit and SwiftUI. Knowledge about interfacing both frameworks together is a plus
- Experience with XCTestFramework and XCUITestFramework
- Solid understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines , including Swift UI for application development
- Experience in creating dynamic frameworks for di stributing modularized features
- Comfortable with integration to RESTful APIs
- 3-5 years of experience in product development as engineer or senior engineer
- Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment
- Well organized with a bias for action with minimal direction
- A team player with a start-up/ entrepreneur mindset
- Ravenous about learning technology and problem solving
- Strong writing and communication skills
