JOB SUMMARY The Software Engineer is responsible for delivering fast and reliable software using various Microsoft technologies and modern day web client scripting libraries DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create custom installers for different software on Windows and Linux
- Write Windows Batch scripts, Power shell, Linux Shell scripts
- Develop applications (programming, coding) in .Net, Python etc.
- Document code and perform unit testing of software
- Participate in code review
- Maintain release notes on all software versions
- Minimum experience of 3 years
- Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
- Expert in creating and configuring custom installers for different software on Windows and Linux.
- Expert in Windows Batch scripts, Power shell, Linux Shell scripts
- Expert in .Net, Python
- Familiar with Databases like MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Familiar with writing windows services, APIs, Websockets etc.
- Familiar with DevOps Build, Deployment technologies
- Strong understanding of code versioning tools like Git, SpectrumSCM
- Critical thinking and problem-solving things
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas Drilling is preferred
- Office environment
