JOB SUMMARY The Software Engineer is responsible for delivering fast and reliable software using various Microsoft technologies and modern day web client scripting libraries DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create custom installers for different software on Windows and Linux
  • Write Windows Batch scripts, Power shell, Linux Shell scripts
  • Develop applications (programming, coding) in .Net, Python etc.
  • Document code and perform unit testing of software
  • Participate in code review
  • Maintain release notes on all software versions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • Minimum experience of 3 years
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
  • Expert in creating and configuring custom installers for different software on Windows and Linux.
  • Expert in Windows Batch scripts, Power shell, Linux Shell scripts
  • Expert in .Net, Python
  • Familiar with Databases like MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Familiar with writing windows services, APIs, Websockets etc.
  • Familiar with DevOps Build, Deployment technologies
  • Strong understanding of code versioning tools like Git, SpectrumSCM
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving things
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Drilling is preferred
