Solidworks Designer - Fort Worth, TXSeeking a Solidworks Designer with experience in electronic manufacturing and/or aerospace manufacturing products. Experience with designing electrical schematics and components.Description:Provide electrical design assistance for various aircraft lighting, circuitry, and power supply. Prepare design drawings using SolidWorks Ensure that drawings are of the highest quality and organized in accordance with company and industry design standards Work closely with design team and program management to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets technical requirementsEssential Functions:The Designer will be responsible for the following items on assigned projects: Preparing electrical design solutions for aircraft lighting and electrical systems Perform drawing maintenance on existing designs as required Coordinate file set up for Electrical disciplines Present the specific drafting standards to the design team and engineering management Ensure that all drawings are prepared with accuracy, neatness & speed, meeting company standards Communicate issues and problems to the management team Assist in the maintenance of files for all design drawings and project documentsSkills:Solidworks, circuit board design, tight tolerances, AutoCAD, schematics, sustainment, modifications, cabling, electronicsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
Able to complete drafts/designs in solidworks for schematic capture, schematic design, power supply, manufacturability, connectors, cabeling
Uses MS office application software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), in the performance of daily work and activities.
Uses appropriate problem solving tools for a given situation.
Maintains professionalism in communicating with customers.
Experience within Aerospace manufacturing and electronics manufacturing
