Qualifications:
  • Master of Science (preferably Computer Science or Electronics)
  • MUST: Certified in AWS or Azure
  • Additional Certifications Preferred: TOGAF, and any other certifications like ITIL, CSM, or PMI

Pre-requisites (Mandatory Skills):
  • Must have worked as a Solution Architect for at least 2 years providing solutions in .NET / Java Technologies (Technology
Agnostic)
  • Hands-on experience in developing web services. Must have good knowledge of SOAP, REST-based services (WebAPI)
  • Hands-on experience in data formats such as XML & JSON. Must be well versed with XSL, Xpath, XQuery
  • Hands-on experience in Middleware Technologies like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Redis Cache
  • Good working knowledge on SQL Server and must have good SQL query writing skills
  • Must possess good application design skills with UML, Design patterns, and database design
  • In-depth knowledge on at least one designing/modeling tool such as Enterprise Architect, VISIO / LucidCharts
  • Must have experience in handling technology consulting assignments
  • Must have very good oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to effectively present solutions to business and technical groups and drive them towards a common goal/objective
  • Must have undertaken onsite assignments in consulting roles to provide technical solutions to business-critical problems, proof-concepts, architecture evaluation for customers and partners
  • Must have hands-on experience in preparing project plans, task plans, and tracking sheets

Pre-requisites (Preferred Skills):
  • Good knowledge of anyone Javascript Frameworks like AngularJS / REACTJS
  • Good knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J
  • Good knowledge of Hybrid Mobile Technologies such as Xamarin / Ionic Framework / Jquery Mobile
  • Good in Troubleshooting technical problems/issues
  • Identifying solutions to key challenges

Responsibilities:
  • Manage an application portfolio and set the technology directions for the same
  • Identify means of reducing the TCO of a portfolio through application portfolio rationalization. Should be able to view the big picture and suggest value-adds for the business
  • Build Reference Architectures, and conduct workshops to validate it
  • Possesses strong ability to translate demanding business needs to end-to-end solution architectures
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed multi-disciplinary teams to drive solution architecture across business domains
  • Proficient in Architectural Analysis/Reviews, Evaluation of products/tools, Portfolio assessments, Gap analysis, and building technical roadmaps
  • Define Process & Governance models by aligning with Business & IT teams
  • Perform research initiatives, and undertake proof-of-concepts
  • Participate in presales calls, present capability/offerings/case studies, and prepare technical approaches for RFP / RFI
