Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Enterprise Architecture team. Currently, this position is remote due to COVID, but will eventually turn into a hybrid work schedule. Candidate must be able to commute into 1 of the 3 offices (Dallas, NYC, or Winston-Salem) at least 3 times/week. Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise regarding architectural design and overall solution design
  • Create/provide all compliance artifacts and documentation needed to fully document solution designs
  • Review architectures and designs to ensure alignment with company standards
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent field
  • 5+ years of experience architecting/designing/developing solutions (software and infrastructure) for the financial industry sector
  • 2+ years of experience designing solutions for Cloud deployment with 1 or more of the major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Strong UML diagram skills
  • Experience with security arch patterns for web applications is a plus
  • Strong ability to translate business/functional/non-functional requirements into detailed architecture/designs
  • Experience with enterprise class technologies/programming languages: Java/JEE, C, Python
