Title: Solutions Architect

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Contract Position

Job Description:
  • Strong Architecture and Design experience – specifically TOGAF and Archimate standards
  • Ability to consume Business Architecture and Conceptual Solution Architecture, develop Logical and Physical Solution Architecture and support feature team thru product delivery
  • Sound knowledge and work experience in designing and implementing event-driven microservice architectures for past 2 years
  • Responsible for owning Level 2 grooming of functional stories to technical stories and guide the feature team to groom Level 3 development stories
  • Experience in designing cloud-native applications – targeted to OpenShift PaaS
  • Strong hands-on Core Java expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Spring framework, N-tier Architecture (MVC, JEE), and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) technologies
  • Experience with Agile Development & Agile Management tools (e.g. Version One)
  • Hands on experience with continuous-integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, JUnit, Artifactory)
  • Ability to manage overall development in a Trunk-based Development model (unit testing, functional test automation, automated build/deploy pipelines)
  • Experience with modern data management technologies (e.g. NoSQL databases, JBoss/Infinispan DataGrid, Redis) and logging/data mining technologies (e.g. Splunk / ELK)
  • Familiarity with Rules Management Systems (e.g. Drools, IBM Lombardi)
  • Responsible for ensuring the defined metrics for the track are followed and delivered by the feature team (e.g. Code coverage and test automation to defined percentage)
  • Responsible for presenting desired architectural changes to architecture governance board for approval
  • High Analytical capabilities and experience implementing advanced data structures, algorithms and multi-threaded applications
  • Basic Unix Knowledge and Programming experience (e.g. Unix Shell scripting)
