Join us.DescriptionThis role is responsible for partnering with global stakeholders to proactively govern and remediate areas of compliance risk. A strong strategic mindset, combined with excellent communication & project management skills are critical to provide value to the business by ideating, documenting, and governing solutions that are globally effective within Caterpillar’s sourcing operations. A background in direct purchasing, compliance, and/or audit would be beneficial towards understanding Caterpillar’s global purchasing operations and the culture of compliance that is being driven by the Executive Office. In addition, this role is accountable for owning executive dashboards that inform on key metrics that will indicate positive or negative trends, the quantification of sourcing risks, and then mapping those risks to governance strategies to ensure compliance. This role will also be responsible for creating executive summaries of material analytical finding, the strategies to address any highlighted issues, and presenting those findings to executive leadership. This position is also accountable for owning Caterpillar purchasing processes and being the lead subject matter expert on the content and purpose.Job DutiesTo design, develop, deploy, and monitor assigned capabilities that produce consistent business results. This position will ensure successful deployment through training and coaching users to drive adoption and continuous improvement. To successfully design and develop solutions, the successful individual will collaborate with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepare implementation plans for successful deployment. Communication, change management, and project management will be key skills to leverage in this role. This position will work together with Project Leaders and other Solution Owners to provide input specific to the functional scope and capabilities, including training, process enhancement, and strategic solutions to address any audit findings. They will recommend areas for proactive service offering improvements to preemptively boost the culture of compliance and avoid findings in the future. Collects and interprets voice of the customer information to direct new and enhanced service offerings. Communicates with enterprise leaders on strategies and lessons learned. This role will also be called upon to contribute to strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and develop the associated tools & training. In addition, it will serve as the lead technical representative for IAAS audit compliance and governance and will work directly with a wide range of SPPD & enterprise representatives including presenting recommendations to senior divisional leaders.
