In this position, you will join a team of software engineers to develop, integrate, test and certify human-rated flight software. This project is at NASA s Johnson Space Center to support the Orion and Gateway vehicle programs and includes software at the kernel/driver level to user applications.
Required: - Demonstrated proficiency developing software applications inthe C language.
- Demonstrated proficiency developing software applications for Linux.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be comfortable working in an agile small-team environment.
- Must be able to work on ITAR or export-controlled products.
Desired (any or some of the following): - Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Engineering
- Experience with flight software development.
- Experience developing in the cFS (core Flight System) framework.
- Applicable agile team leadership based on experience level.
- Experience working in a modern software environment including use ofcontinuous integration, devops, and unit testing.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting embedded software.
Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.
