BILINGUAL CHILD ACADEMY is an exceptional Spanish immersion daycare center in San Antonio, TX, with Texas Rising Star accreditation.

Here are some details about the available positions:

- Full Time Lead Teacher: Salary position

- Part Time Assistant Teacher: Per hour

You will be part of a team of teachers in an infant, toddler, or preschool classroom. We follow a Spanish immersion play-based curriculum from Frog Street Press. Proficiency in Spanish is a requirement, and basic communication skills in English for parent notes are necessary.

Responsibilities:

- Provide care and ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of a group of children, working collaboratively with your team.

- Support the children in their learning and developmental milestones.

- Act as a supervisor for a group of assistants.

- Maintain regular communication with parents.

- Write notes on daily reports and include the children's daily necessities.

- Implement learning activities.

- Develop strong relationships with parents and families.

- Create a loving and welcoming environment for infants and toddlers, with a focus on social-emotional learning.

Requirements for the position:

- Must be a bilingual English/Spanish speaker (Spanish 100%, English at least 50%).

- Must be 18 years or older.

- High school education or higher (CDA preferable).

- Some prior experience working with young children is preferred.

- Must pass a background check.

- Eligible to work in the United States.

- Meet all Texas Health & Humans Services (HHS) standards for Child Care Licensing (CCL) in the state of Texas.

- Physically able to lift 35-40 lbs or a small child, and able to perform tasks such as walking, bending, twisting, and squatting.

- Professional appearance and a friendly, warm personality.

- A genuine passion for working with young children, displaying patience and kindness.
