The Senior Accountant furthers the company's goals through the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, the analysis and reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow, as well as the creation of budgets and forecasts, preparation of audits, and management of internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests

Partake in various department-wide initiatives

Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary Requirements

3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

Journal entries experience required

Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

Practical knowledge of Prepaid Expense

Account reconciliation experience

Demonstrated knowledge of bank reconciliations

Good understanding of accruals

General familiarity with Invoice Approvals

Strong familiarity with account reconciliation

Solid understanding of Full Cycle Accounting

Fixed Asset Depreciation experience highly preferred

Earlier work involving month end closings

Background working with Fixed Asset Inventory

Adeptness in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

Vow to meet business deadlines

Experience with ERP systems

Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
