Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Ad-hoc projects as required
Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments Requirements - Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
The ideal candidate for this position can demonstrate proficiency in financial reporting systems
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Solid understanding of Costpoint (Deltek)
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
