Description There's currently a long-term contract / temporary opportunity at Robert Half for an experienced Senior Accountant with an eye for accuracy and a knack for solving complex problems. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Participate in various department-wide initiatives

Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

Ad-hoc projects as required

Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Requirements - Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports

If you are proficient with financial reporting systems, you could be a good fit for this position

Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

Efficient in ERP systems

Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

Journal entries experience desired

Proven knowledge of NetSuite

Knowledge of general ledger

Deep understanding of month end closings

NetSuite experience

Financial statement preparation experience

General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Well-founded grasp of QuickBooks

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
