Description We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team. The role is based in Dallas, Texas, and will involve taking part in a range of accounting tasks, focused on the Real Estate industry. The Sr. Accountant will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling full cycle accounting tasks, understanding debt, and engaging in a variety of projects. Responsibilities: Execute full cycle accounting duties with precision. Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. Engage in the preparation of General Ledger and Journal Entries. Utilize Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Participate in the Month End Close process. Play an active role in various projects, demonstrating adaptability and a keen interest in diverse tasks. Deepen understanding of debt and its impact on financial planning and decision making. Work closely with the Real Estate Accounting department on related tasks. Strive towards achieving CPA certification. Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite. Strong knowledge of General Ledger management. Ability to perform Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Capable of preparing accurate Journal Entries. Experience in managing Month End Close processes. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to high quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Willingness to stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations. detail oriented certification such as CPA is a plus.
