Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Dallas, Texas for the position of a Sr. Accountant. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in the reconciliation of accounts, maintaining balance sheets, and managing bank reconciliations in the financial industry. You will also be expected to handle general ledger tasks and month end close activities.Responsibilities: Carry out account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to confirm account balances. Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy. Maintain the general ledger to keep records up-to-date. Prepare journal entries as per the financial transactions. Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial data and reporting needs. Oversee month end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. Work with the Workday platform for financial management purposes. Requirements Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation Demonstrated ability in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required Proficient in maintaining and managing General Ledger Must be able to prepare and analyze Journal Entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential Familiarity with Workday software is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
