KEY FUNCTIONSAdministrative operations

Provides administrative support to four faculty members within The Department of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.

Provides backup coverage to other office administrative support staff as required.

Assists faculty members with the credentialing and promotion process.

Maintains all faculty licensures.

Composes formal and informal correspondence through email or written memorandums, creates and formats presentations (both timely and accurately) utilizing the most current available software for such.

Concur

Maintains accuracy and on time submission of expense reimbursements and travel authorizations.

Ensures faculty member has adequate funds and extramural leave prior to submitting for approval travel authorizations or expense reimbursements.

Mandatory to be conversant in the use of the Concur application.

Project Coordination

Maintains faculty CVs and biosketches in accordance to the NIH.

Assigns PMCIDs to grant related articles.

Assists MDs with manuscript and abstract submission to cancer related journals.

Composes formal and informal correspondence through email or written memorandums.

Creates and formats presentations both timely and accurately utilizing the most current available software for such.

Account reconciliation

Monitors PRS development account for assigned physicians.

Meetings

Schedules and coordinates faculty meetings

EDUCATIONRequired: High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree.EXPERIENCERequired: Five years of administrative/secretarial experience. With preferred Associate's degree, three years of required experience.
