We have been retained by our client in
Dallas, Texas (Addison, Texas) to deliver a Business Analyst on a long-term contract basis to assist in our clients software project, and provide documentation necessary.We are seeking a candidate interested in a Business Analyst (BA) role working on a software development project.We are seeking a BA candidate who wrote functional descriptions, User Stories or Use Cases for any software development projects, or ecommerce web sites, understands the basics of the SDLC (software development life cycle) in example.- The BA must be comfortable writing documentation for
- User Manuals, user guides, online help manuals
- Training instructions
- Help sections
- Project plans for development timelines, i.e.
- The BA can take existing business processes (a manual or software/automated process) and translate into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, or workflows to be used by developers to design and code the functionality into the .NET application.
- The BA must have an understanding of agile software development methodologies
- Able to work on Team Foundation Server (TFS) / Azure DevOps (JIRA or other experience is fine for this requirement if candidate has not used TFS)
- User stories or use cases
- Bugs software defects needing to be documented
- Features functional requirements, workflows, or wireframes
- Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst with at least some software development projects or some of the aforementioned.
- Some experience talking with developers and software engineers writing software code and experience following a development process or SDLC.
- Creating project planning documentation
- Creating documentation of meetings including scribing the minutes or discussions for all project meetings and project communications, and distributing to included team members in distribution lists
- Fluency in technical and common Microsoft Office software applications, MS Visio, Adobe Suite or others and tools for documentation and diagrams
- Ability to remain detail oriented, and write content that is easy to understand by a wide audience.
