The purpose of this operations and support function is to identify and resolve TIAA’s support issues based on priority and severity as well as have responsibility for small enhancements to all systems/products/applications within our domain. The Senior Data Analyst performs complex analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets that identify current market sector trends and customer patterns. This job is responsible for examining and identifying data patterns and trends that help answer business questions and improve decision-making. Under limited supervision, the Senior Data Analyst job is responsible for collecting data sources, analyzing and extracting key data and information.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Participates in development of detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.
Identifies areas of opportunity and risk through data analysis and modelling.
Provides information for additional research and analysis in line with statistical methodology.
Partners with other areas of the business to model the potential outcomes of implementing various business strategies.
Provide technical expertisefor our Data Services & Operation support functions,within the CDAIO.
Perform root cause analysis, identify issue and implement corrective/preventive measures
Extend Production Support in L1 / L2 capacity. Being able to efficiently debug and troubleshoot production issues
Participate & provide support for releases, risks, mitigation plan, and regular DR exercise for project roll out.
Drive Automation, Permanent Fixes to prevent issues from reoccurring.
Document standards, processes and procedures relating to best practices, issues and resolutions.

At least 3 years experience with Data Management
At least 3 years experience with Data Analysis
Experience with Python and/or strong familiarity with other backend languages such as Java or Node.
Preferred Skills:
Professional experience with the following AWS services: EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EC2
Professional experience with applications using Snowflake and Pyspark for data management and processing.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong familiarity with ERISA/Plan reporting
Experience working in an Agile work environment and Scrum standards
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment
Flexible to pick up conflicting priorities
Ability to work under pressure to deal with Production Priorities
Upskill & Upgrade self as per strategic roadmaps
Demonstrate ownership and great sense of urgency for production issues
