Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing a variety of financial documents, coordinating with internal and external auditors, and assisting with other technical accounting areas. You will be a key component in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and regulatory filings.Responsibilities: Compiling and maintaining monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting packages Conducting regular analyses and maintaining reporting templates Preparing the company’s periodic SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-Q, and ensuring all schedules and supporting documentation are accurate Coordinating with Investor Relations, Accounting, FP& A, and senior management to prepare and tie-out supporting materials for investor meetings and Board of Directors’ presentations Processing monthly journal entries and analyses related to leases and share-based compensation Assisting in other technical accounting areas, including revenue recognition, stock compensation, EPS, leases, and asset retirement obligations Researching and resolving inquiries for the accounting department and senior management Communicating regularly with supervisors regarding SEC filings, financial close, issues and deliverables Preparing the monthly Statement of Cash Flow. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred, combined with 3+ years of external reporting experience, preferably with big 4 public accounting experience. Proficiency in Form 10-K is a must-have skill. Strong knowledge of Form 10-Q is required. Should have experience in Financial Reporting. Familiarity with Internal Financial Reporting is essential. Experience with SEC Financial Reporting is highly desirable.
