Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr Fund Analyst in the Investment Management industry in Ft. Worth, Texas. The role involves working with the Fund Accounting team in a Private Equity environment. The successful candidate will be skilled in MS Excel, Systems, and the Financial / Alternative asset industry.Responsibilities: Analyzing revenues and conducting revenue accounting with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Maintaining and updating the general ledger as needed Handling reclassifications and preparing trial balance in line with company policies Creating and presenting financial statements based on collected data Ensuring revenue recognition accounting is performed in accordance with financial regulations Adhering to SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements Monitoring and adjusting customer accounts as necessary Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of investment management or related industries Demonstrated ability to analyze revenues and account for them accurately in financial statements Proficiency in handling General Ledger and managing reclassifications Skilled in preparing trial balance and understanding its implications on financial decision making Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and their application in accounting Familiarity with revenue recognition accounting standards and practices Knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its implications on the company's accounting and financial reporting Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is preferred Professional certifications like CFA, CPA, or similar are considered a plus.
