Position requires onsite work two (2) days a week This position is seeking a Geospatial professional with data and web development skills using python and the Esri platform. This position will serve primarily as a python developer assisting with data automation, workflow management, data publishing and data lifecycle management, and database ETL. Experience with Esri suite of products such as Web App builder, experience builder, workforce, Survey 123, Collector, ArcGIS dashboards and/or other tools a major plus. Position may support TxDOT users with developing configurable web-based GIS applications to be used in an internal environment for field collection, analysis, visualization, or other business needs. Experience with Esri JavaScript API/JavaScript development a major plus. Strong python programming skills will be applied to development and maintenance of data automations, data publishing processes, data manipulation, and ETL as primary responsibility. Position will assist with application documentation, internal process wiki contributions and content, and input for training documentation. Position may provide input into training requirements for the agency to enable the workforce to adopt and manage GIS applications created and managed through the TxDOT Geospatial platform (ArcGIS Enterprise Portal).
