We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers. Our Test Environments Team is seeking a Lab Lead to be part of our Lab Support section. The Lab Lead will be responsible for managing Engineering Labs located in North Texas McKinney site that develop and test product for multiple mission areas.This position is an onsite role.What you will do:
Duties include coordination and execution of SI&T engineering Lab requirements.
Responsibilities include maintaining and standardizing lab infrastructure, to meet program requirements. Responsibilities also include supporting AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits, DCMA audits and EHS audits.
The Lab Lead shall ensure lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules and applicable SI&T policies within the lab, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property controls, ESD controls, Housekeeping, Shelf-life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics.
This position requires the ability to manage logistics of various SI&T competing contract requirements.
Qualifications you must have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience in lab safety and/or 6S (Housekeeping)
Experience with AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits.
T he ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications we prefer:
Asset Management Systems experience (Aramis and SAP)
Data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Working Knowledge of RI&S lab run rules, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of ESD Controls (Garment control, wrist straps, SSWS, and monitoring)
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Highly motivated self-starter; Can work independently with a minimum of supervision.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
