The Director be skilled at evaluating and revising operations and procedures in response to business changes. The Director plays an important part in the success of the Professional Services department as they oversee several key areas. In this position, the individual will be responsible for:Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of experienced Project Managers for the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope and on budget.
Coach and mentor project management practitioners and share knowledge of best practices.
Seek implementation efficiencies to meet or exceed the financial expectations established at project initiation.
Develop/enhance, implement, and govern program management processes, tools, templates, frameworks, and metrics.
Monitor administrative compliance with project policies and standards.
Engage with customer leaders/executives for large strategic projects.
Business Operations
Manage the team responsible for Professional Services finance processes and resourcing including but not limited to:
Timesheet management, invoice approval, and customer billing
Project setup, staffing, and resource forecasting
Financial data accuracy and records management
Vendor Management (enablement, resourcing, performance)
Forecast resourcing needs and optimize margins.
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of Project/Program Management experience
Expert‐level knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques, processes (e.g., Project and
Portfolio Management Methodology – PPM)
3+ years in an administrative or organizational role that includes time-management skills to manage multiple tasks in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
Proficiency with following tools: SalesForce and SAP
Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint
Budget, cost and profitability management skills
Ability to influence without authority
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree or master’s degree preferred
PMP or PgMP
Good understanding of Quality Systems in Life Sciences, Medical Device, or Consumer Products sectors
Willing to fulfill occasional travel requirement.
Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
Demonstrated leadership ability to establish and manage a high‐performance team
Motivated to build relationships at executive levels with customers and vendor groups
Flexibility, adaptability, and resourcefulness when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables
