Here is how the manager described it: oJunior - they will take some time to upskill oMid - won't drag down the teams velocity oSenior - Individual Contributor that can also help mentor junior developers This dev team will be working on the external facing Chase mobile app The #2 reason new customers work with Chase is because of the mobile app experience The now have buy in from every business unit across JPMC that wants to join the mobile experience They also have outside Credit Card vendors that want their customer interaction point to be stronger within the mobile experience (Amazon) All CX needs to be overhauled and there is plenty of room for continuous improvement 37 million active users daily $5B in daily transactions - they practically keep the financial/commercial banking market moving daily. iOS: Currently on Xcode 13 - they are working on pushing out 15 plus features Aggressively pursuing 100% swift code base Swift package manager Where will candidates learn and grow from this opportunity: Accessibility! They will partner with the Accessibility team to build a robust customer experience to WCAG AA and AAA standards. Android: Kotlin based development, RX java, dagger2 MVVM coding pattern Must have experience writing/maintain unit testing. Required Skills & Experience: Sr. Android Software Engineers: 7+ years of combined software/application development experience 5+ years of experience developing large scale mobile applications using Java and Kotlin Understanding of architectural patterns such as MVP and MVVM Created 1 or more mobile applications available in Google's Android Market Expert knowledge in all phases of the mobile app development life cycle Must be able to Work Remotely from in the State of California Sr. iOS Software Engineers: 7+ years of combined software/application development experience 5 + years of experience developing large scale mobile applications using Objective C, and Swift Created 1 or more mobile applications available in Apple's App Store Expert knowledge in all phases of the mobile app development life cycle Must be able to Work Remotely in the State of California Highly Desired Skills & Experience: Created 1 or more mobile applications with over 100K downloads Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning Optimization of code, testing, challenges and troubleshooting for mobile phones GIT source control management Consuming SOAP web services Advanced communication skills with the ability to clarify application requirements via phone/email with business partners in addition to relying on technical requirements documentation
