Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Network Engineer for a 5 month + contract assignment.
Job Description• Design, support, install, and maintain Cerner's internal network infrastructure, related technologies and equipment.• Design, support, install, and maintain local area network, wide area network, and wireless network components• Work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches and access points• Coordinate network changes and communicate with impacted stakeholders• Perform project work to update or replace network equipment• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues• Configure or upgrade network components• Document network diagrams• Mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshootingProject Work Description• Aruba Networks (i.e. Policy Manager)• Cisco Networks• Palo Alto Networks• Citrix Netscaler• ImprivataPosition location is Odessa, TX.Candidates located within Texas are preferred but not required.
