Overview

This position will be responsible for implementing interfaces within GM Financial and with vendors and 3rd parties, for data exchanges related to HR (ADP, Sailpoint, ServiceNow, Kronos, iCIMS, SuccessFactors, etc.), and Finance (FIS, Customer Refunds Dealer Supplier Maintenance, etc.). Analysis, design and implementing data integrations between systems and companies.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

  • Design and develop advanced solutions in Oracle SOA Suite and related technologies
  • Provide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans and procedures
  • Implement REST/SOAP interfaces with internal customers and external vendors
  • Virtualize and re-use Services with Oracle Service Bus
  • Develop file/database objects, shell scripts, reports, control and utility procedures/functions
  • Refine and optimize existing SOA projects and research and develop POCs for new projects
  • Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing, debugging and demos
  • Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform design/code reviews
  • Provide third-tier user support during installation and end user training
  • Maintain technical and functional awareness and competence
  • Serve as technical contact to vendors and partners, when appropriate
  • Coordinate and work with onsite team and extended offshore team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • SOA concepts, design patterns, development, migration/deployment
  • Processes and procedures of troubleshooting & recovery and monitoring & alarms/alerts
  • Best practices for queuing/sequencing events/messages, retries and error handling
  • Security (OAUTH 20), encryption (pgp/gpg) and protocols (HTTPS, TCP/IP, TLS v12)
  • Familiarity with AIM methodology, PaaS/SaaS, MFT, TFS, GIT
  • Exposure to Agile framework and practices, DevOps, CI/CD, Maven, Jenkins

Skills

  • Oracle SOA Suite preferably 12xx, WebLogic and JMS/AQ/MQ/DB/file sources/adapters
  • BPMN/BPEL, OSB, JSON, XML/XSLT, XSD, PL/SQL skills including performance tuning
  • Source code version control tools, FTP, Unix/Linux Shell scripts
  • IDEs such as JDeveloper, TOAD, Postman, SoapUI and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to read and understand functional and technical specifications and documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software applications and equipment
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience required

Experience

  • Greater than 10 years IT analysis, design, development, testing, documenting and production support of SOA based applications required
  • 7-10 years Oracle SOA tools required
  • Experience in developing SOA based interfaces with 3rd party systems required
  • Experience defining adapters (AQ, MQ, DB, file), XSLT transformations, and building integrations via SOA composites involving BPEL orchestrations, adapters, mediators, XML, XSLT transformations, OSB services, REST/SOAP APIs, business rules and workflows etc required
  • Experience with code versioning, migration/deployment, troubleshooting and recovery, monitoring processes, of both applications and infrastructure required
  • Experience with Oracle EBS (Finance, HR), Shell & ANT scripts required
  • Experience with Oracle OIC, SOA CS, TIBCO BusinessWorks, APEX, or ATP required
  • Hands-on experience in setup and configuring the WebCenter Content modules, IPM/WebCenter Imaging, ODC/ WebCenter Capture, OFR/ WebCenter Forms Recognition, AXF, Input Agents, Application Adapters, BPM and Oracle SOA Suite.
  • Integrated WebCenter Imaging with E-Business Suite by using FIPSA Accelerator

Working Conditions
