As a Sr Program Controls Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the program control and coordination functions within the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. This role involves managing a team of program control professionals and ensuring the successful execution of complex programs and projects. You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and success of our programs and projects by providing strategic leadership and guidance to your team. You will ensure that programs and projects are efficiently and successfully executed, while also identifying and mitigating risks and issues.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and manage the program controls function for projects and programs

Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies

Monitor and control project costs and budgets

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices

Minimum of 6 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related roles

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies

Experience with project planning and scheduling tools

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Experience in a global organization
