This excellent Healthcare Corporation Headquarters in North Dallas Texas with over 30k professionals in more than 250 locations, collectively serving over 200,000 individuals across 30 states.You will be responsible for driving and managing a variety of strategic and tactical technology initiatives while assisting in the maturation of the company’s Project Management Office. Projects will include application implementation, infrastructure, process improvements, and other transformational related projects or programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for projects with responsibility for monitoring and ensuring program results meeting scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages the entire project/program lifecycle for IT solutions including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing within scope and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project charter, project plan, identifying critical paths, and outlining success metrics
  • Champion project scaling/sizing process to understand appropriate level of detail and techniques to use to fully capitalize on project/program and performance objectives as established
  • Outline and manage readiness activities, change management, communication and deployment plans, including transition to production support
  • Escalate and drive resolution to critical project related issues impacting overall health, deliverables, and critical dates
  • Review contracts, SOW’s, and participate in sourcing needs
  • Assesses gaps and develop action plans to address identified gaps
  • Manages competing stakeholder needs and optimize experiences and relationships with stakeholders
  • Provides project leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines
  • Understand linkage between project/program goals and ensure projects/programs are properly aligned and prioritized based on the organization’s strategy and goals
  • As a member of the PMO team continuously mature the corporate PMO methodology body of knowledge, tools, and processes
  • Adheres to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and follow corporate policies, professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others

BACKGROUND
  • Solid IT project management experience delivering complex medium-to-large scale transformational projects within a Healthcare environment (experience managing Salesforce project, preferred)
  • Solid experience within an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environment
  • Competent in MS Office Suite and project and portfolio management tools like SharePoint, MS Project, SmartSheet, Clarity, Jira, Rally, Service Now, PPM, etc.
  • Familiarity with applying various project management methodologies such as waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and others
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, Six Sigma, Lean, ITIL or equivalent certifications a plus
