As a Senior SAP Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, implementing, maintaining, and supporting SAP security across multiple environments, some of which are subject to ITAR or other regulatory constraints. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring full compliance with IT security policies while enhancing information security and optimizing business processes. This role also involves leadership responsibilities, including overseeing analyst work, approvals, audit support, project management, and more.Responsibilities:

Utilize SAP Profile Generator to create and modify SAP Security Roles/profiles.

Troubleshoot user roles, security objects, and authorizations to resolve security conflicts.

Conduct regular system audits to detect deviations from established procedures, role mappings, and unauthorized system activity, and report findings to management.

Leverage the Segregation of Duty (SOD) tool to validate user role assignments and profile modifications.

Support integration testing of roles/profiles.

Verify approvals for user access modifications.

Enhance and support the Access Control module.

Improve user experience for SAP GRC users by enabling FIORI Apps.

Assist the team in performing reviews and monitoring activities using SAP GRC.

Serve as an SAP Security subject matter expert, providing technical guidance to team members.

Monitor automated processes and compliance jobs for effective and efficient operation.

Review security patches for SAP landscape applications.

Conduct security reviews of SAP systems and participate in audit and compliance activities.

Resolve technical and complex security-related issues across the SAP landscape.

Identify gaps in security administration processes, procedures, and opportunities for optimization and automation.

Collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and peers.

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of system landscape and migration flow.

Monitor progress on work queues to ensure timely resolution of open items.

Develop, maintain, implement, and communicate security policies and procedures.

Collaborate with business managers to refine or adjust SAP roles.

Mentor team members in troubleshooting, priority setting, and project management.

Manage various types of projects, both internal and external, as needed by the business.

QualificationsEducation/Experience:

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 6 years of IT experience.

SAP GRC Certification is a plus.

Skills/Competencies:

Five or more years of experience in analyzing, developing, and maintaining SAP Security.

Expertise in designing and deploying comprehensive security solutions for large corporations using S/4 HANA, ECC, BI/BW, PI/PO, EWM, Solution Manager, and FIORI Gateway.

Working experience with GRC 10.0 or 12.1 is desirable.

Experience in migrating SAP Roles to S/4 HANA is a plus.

Understanding of SAP Cloud Security.

Knowledge of risk assessment procedures, authorization methodologies, and authentication technologies.

Familiarity with segregation of duties and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations related to application security.

Strong organizational and excellent communication skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Proficient project management skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

General familiarity with SAP modules, including FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, BW, EWM, Hybris, PI/PO, CPI, and portal landscape, is highly preferred.

Ability to manage project work while handling daily analysis of Security Requests and troubleshooting user problems.
