DESCRIPTION

Job summaryHave you ever wondered how Amazon manages its own services in the cloud? Amazon is one of AWS's largest customers, and here in the Amazon Cloud Management Foundations (ACMF) organization, we architect and build highly secure services to help Amazonians access their AWS resources. We work with customers and peers from the entire range of Amazon's businesses to drive initiatives in AWS. If you've ever wanted to work on an immense scale with high visibility across Amazon, then you've found the right place. Our org is connected to all parts of Amazon's business and its massive, worldwide service-oriented architecture. We enable the Amazon business to build, architect and operate their enterprise scale systems securely on AWS.

We are looking for highly motivated Software Development Engineers (SDEs) who are excited about solving tough technical problems and invested in delivering delightful customer experiences. Our goal is to build highly accessible systems, and we want you to be a part of that. You will work with us to create highly available, enterprise scale resource management systems in the cloud that enable our customers - service owners - to securely access their AWS resources.

As an SDE in this group, you will collaborate with other engineers and design professionals to build a world-class experience. You have an opportunity here to operate on and engineer systems on a massive scale all while gaining experience in cloud computing. Your peers are smart, passionate about delivering top-notch software and are invested in our customers.

A successful candidate doesn't need to be a security expert or cloud computing genius. They just need a strong desire to learn and the ability to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment life cycle (including designing, building, testing, documentation and operations). Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Candidate should also be able to deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment. They should enjoy working closely with their peers in a group of very talented engineers.
