Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the overall architecture, design, development, and maintenance of server and endpoint technologies for the entire enterprise.Maintain, support and troubleshoot server issues, perform hardware and software installations, hardware and software maintenance and upgrades. Additionally, administer system security and serve as technical lead in evaluating and recommending technology upgrades.

  • Install and configure hardware, operating systems and 3rd party software.
  • Plan, schedule and perform proactive maintenance, including hardware, operating system and 3rd party software upgrades and patch installation.
  • Perform capacity planning including allocating processors, memory and storage and planning future expansion requirements.
  • Create and execute scripts for various backup, monitoring and job scheduling activities.
  • Perform server tuning including monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing performance.
  • Provide guidelines for production, staging, Q/A, and development environments.
  • Maintain and monitor file system and develop archival, backup and recovery strategy.
  • As a Subject Matter Expert participate in architectural and design reviews and recommend technical solutions, architecture design and implementation time lines in support of business application requirements.

BACKGROUND
  • Senior level experience as a Systems Administrator with strong understanding of:
    • Windows Server
    • VMware
    • Citrix
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Azure required
    • MS Office 365 required
    • Networking (TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP)
    • ITIL Service Management
    • Microsoft Clustering
    • SAN, NAS, Storage administration and protocols
    • LDAP
    • Storage Solutions
  • Bachelor's degree and Microsoft Certified (MCSE) preferred
