Staff Accountant

Our firm is a full-service CPA firm conveniently located near Mopac/Bee Caves Road, and we have been in business for over 40 years. We do not offer bookkeeping or payroll services. We are seeking a Staff Accountant with 1 - 5 years of public accounting experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of complex federal/state income tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, partnerships, and corporations

- Research various tax issues

- Preparation reviewed and compiled financial statements for a variety of industries

- Preparation of personal financial statements

- Various special projects

Qualification requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- CPA or CPA candidate is preferred

- 1 - 5 years of public accounting experience

- Ability to work independently with minimal assistance

- Ability to multi-task

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Some overtime is required during the busy seasons (February April and August October)

Salary and benefits:

- Salary is commensurate with experience.

- We pay 100% of health insurance premiums.

- We pay for CPE and annual CPA license/dues.
