Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including handling accounts payable, recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits. This position is crucial to maintaining the financial health of our organization and requires a high level of precision and understanding of accounting principles.Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable, including check disbursements and vendor setup maintenance. Record various cash receipts and adjustments for the operating account. Reconcile monthly bank statements for multiple accounts. Assist in the monthly expense reimbursement process for employees. Prepare and record general ledger entries, maintaining and reconciling monthly subsidiary ledgers to balance sheet accounts. Conduct revenue and Accounts Receivable reconciliations to balance A/R and ledger accounts. Compile, code, and record transactions from corporate card charges. Assist the Finance Team with Accounts Receivable functions as needed, including issuing lien letters to delinquent customers. Update and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules. Determine and remit Sales and Use Tax. Update and maintain branch property inventory lists. Maintain updated W9’s for vendors. Cross-train in the administration of payroll. Follow all internal control policies and assist in company audits as needed. Collect support for audit requests. Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations. Familiarity with General Ledger management and Journal Entries. Experience in Month End Close procedures. Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software for accounting tasks. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
