Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Grapevine, Texas. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Ensure customer credit records are accurately maintained Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required Handle Accounts Payable tasks, ensuring prompt and accurate payments Execute bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records Conduct daily cash reconciliations Perform journal entries as part of monthly financial close process Assist with balance sheet reconciliations Utilize Excel for tasks such as pivot tables and vlookups Operate NetSuite for various accounting tasks Aid in catching up with the month-end close for July. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Knowledge of General Ledger management Ability to process Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Familiarity with NetSuite software Proficiency in using Oracle for accounting purposes Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management Knowledge and understanding of SAP for business operations Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Must be authorized to work in the country (no sponsorship available) Must pass a comprehensive background check.
