Austin, TX - 100Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Product Engineer (Staff level) to lead the development, qualification, release, and sustaining of advanced semiconductor power products. This role is responsible for driving product engineering execution across the full lifecycle, from silicon bring-up through high-volume production, with a strong focus on product quality, yield optimization, reliability, and customer success. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in power semiconductor technologies (e.g., PMICs, smart power stages, and multi-phase regulator solutions) and demonstrate strong ownership of complex technical challenges while influencing cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn product engineering activities across the full lifecycle, including silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, production release, and sustainingLead root cause analysis and resolution of complex product, test, and manufacturing issuesDrive improvements in yield, test efficiency, product performance, and cost of qualityDefine and execute characterization and qualification strategies to ensure robust product releasePartner with design and test engineering teams to optimize DFT, test coverage, and correlation (bench vs ATE vs system)Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve customer issues and field escalationsAnalyze yield, parametric, and reliability data to identify trends and drive corrective actionsInfluence product, test, and manufacturing decisions through strong technical judgment and data-driven insightsMentor junior engineers and contribute to development of best practices
