Role Description: The

Strategic Sourcing Manager must have at least 5+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and evaluation of Technology Sourcing strategies and relationship management processes to optimize the companys growth and value delivery strategies. Project-manage Technology and functional teams in the processes of targeting, opportunity evaluations, due diligence and implementation of technology sourcing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities: - Leads sourcing strategy development and leads cross functional teams in due diligence and evaluation efforts - Develops and evaluates relationship structures and governance processes for critical supply and services contracts with respect to strategic fit, business value and risk profiles - Leads Technology cross functional teams in the assessment of operational or financial performance gaps for existing and new service relationships and identifies specific business improvement initiatives - Structures contractual and operational aspects of strategic alliance relationships and other business transactions - Manages cross functional project teams in the configuration, integration and application of new and existing sourcing arrangements or asset acquisitions - Through an understanding of technology procurement methods, proposes methods of structuring procurement contracts in collaboration with the Asset Management, Legal, and key stakeholders, articulates the risks associated with contract language and is able to propose risk mitigation solutions - Ability to work in open work environment.

Minimum Experience and Skills Required: - Bachelors degree in Business, Financial, MIS or related area; MBA preferred but not required - Operational experience in Technology asset management, and/or technical product sourcing - At least seven to ten years of sourcing, procurement, and contract management experience Technology emphasis preferred - Solid understanding of a wide array of Technology contract forms including SaaS, Cloud, Software licensing, Hardware maintenance, MNDA, MSA & SOWs - Legal Acumen: Strong understanding and proven experience in interpreting and executing complex legal Master Agreements and Service Schedules. - Contracting experience in the areas of "on premise" software licensing, software as a service licensing and technology professional services is preferred - Experience in developing and managing Technology RFPs or sourcing process with minimal support, start-to-finish, for complexity projects (to include market research, Technology RFP development, and management of communications, manage stakeholder involvement, etc.) - Evaluating vendor bid responses (quantitatively and qualitatively and RFP analysis using - Extensive experience establishing, managing, and enhancing relationships with vendors, Comm Gov and PMO teams, Technology and other stakeholders (i.e., business partner groups).

Measures of Success: - Acts with the 'bigger picture' in mind (strategic context) - Innovates and solves problems - Effectively negotiates with internal and external stakeholders - Enable Technology delivery teams - Provides quality and timely deliverables - Communicates effectively in an executive environment - Effectively engages company Legal and Technology Commercial Governance resources during contract negotiations and review based on complexity of subject matter, risk and financial exposure. - Conducts an effective RFP by clearly reflecting the strategy and short/long-term business objectives and provide detailed insight upon which suppliers will be able to offer a matching perspective while adhering to project/operational delivery timeline constraints. - Optimizes 3rd party relationships from a service, solution, and cost perspective.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
