Student Respiratory Therapist PRN

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is a 139-licensed bed, general acute care hospital. HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.

What will you do in the role:

The clinical student will apply their classroom knowledge in a healthcare setting. The position will provide student rotations, externships and exposure to skills and knowledge necessary in their respective clinical areas of study.

Qualifications

Education

Enrolled for credit in the clinical portion of an approved academic program in Respiratory Care.

What qualifications you will need:

Completion of the first semester of a clinical program required.

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
