Qualified candidates should send their resume (Word format) to Erica Shackleton at Due to client restrictions, we are only accepting those authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the futureThe Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for working with finance team for defining, analyzing, documenting business requirements and supporting/ leading the development team in the implementation of IS projects. The Business Analyst may also be responsible for supporting several concurrent high visibility projects using traditional waterfall and/or agile methods in a fast-paced environment that could span across business segments. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully extract requirements from business policies and processes, as well as from current and future users, through interaction and research.Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate requirements that will be needed in the future or that have not yet been considered is essential to successful outcomes.
  • Manage requirements that are essential to project success, ensure focus remains on core business needs, and not users? personal preferences, functions related to trends or outdated processes, or other non-essential modifications.
  • Translate business requirements to technical requirements. This includes using powerful analysis and modeling tools to match strategic business objectives with practical technical solutions.
  • Simplify requirements that they are easily understood and consumed by teams, stakeholders and product owners, especially in implementation.
  • Verify requirements and reject implementations that do not advance business objective through analysis, testing, demonstrating and inspection.
  • Lead, perform and document process analysis activities including as-is process identification, to-be process design and gap analysis/resolution.
  • Support the implementation of the solution, provide training, drive User Acceptance Testing, define transition requirements and provide post implementation support.
  • Lead change management activities, including development of user manuals, facilitating training, developing communication campaigns and other activities to ensure that business users understand and can easily adopt after IS implementation.
Technical Competencies:
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Strong Technical aptitude to understand complex database designs and create SQL queries as required to analyze/ troubleshoot issues and/or update data through the backend
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools
  • Agile Project Management tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation (TFS) or equivalent
  • Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
  • Microsoft SQL Studio (or equivalent)

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level

Requirements:
  • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required
  • Five or more years of experience as a business analyst
  • Must have experience supporting Supply Chain specific groups as a business analyst
  • Ability to write IT project documents in support of project and development efforts (Business case, feasibility study, project charter, scope docs and all related project artifacts).
  • Experience with Data Warehouse
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies, specifically with Scrum, Kanban and other iterative practices in enterprise level application development.
  • Balanced business/technical background
