The IT Project Manager is responsible for management and implementation of IT related business projects. Assessing existing information technology systems making suggestions and implementing changes that best meet business needs. Most of the role's responsibilities are to help identify, analyze, document, and manage the implementation of both short-term and long-term solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.Responsibilities• Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines and schedules• Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget• Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress• Conducting risk assessments for projects• Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence• Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and vendors• Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals• Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports• Support entire IT team with participation in problem solving and change management • Perform data management, analysis, and data visualization using tools such as Excel, SSRS, and PowerBI.Job Qualifications (skills, knowledge & abilities)• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.• Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration• Experience in a Terminal or Refining environment preferred• PMP certification, preferred• Strong leadership and organization skills• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, presentation) to all levels of the organization• Experience working with Microsoft 365 Power Platform & SharePoint Online• Strong understanding of IT systems and management (Networking, Server, Database, Application) Requirements PMP Certification, Microsoft Office 365, Networking Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
