Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Support Project Manager/Lead in the Service industry, based in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing ITAM and CMDB projects, serving as the primary point of contact for related queries, and ensuring the delivery of project outcomes in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Lead and manage ITAM and CMDB projects, ensuring all objectives are met within the agreed upon timeframes. Apply Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and Traditional Waterfall methodologies to manage and execute projects. Perform auditing tasks to ensure project compliance with industry standards and company policies. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the project plan. Utilize IT project management skills to define project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans. Continuously monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion. Facilitate communication among team members to ensure everyone is aligned with the project's objectives and progress. Apply technical knowledge in IT asset management to improve project outcomes and efficiency. Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available for team members and stakeholders. Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status and any issues that may affect project delivery. Requirements Proven experience in a Support Project Manager/Lead role within the Service industry Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies Demonstrable experience in Auditing Knowledge and experience in IT asset management Familiarity with both Waterfall and Waterfall Agile project management methodologies Understanding of Traditional Waterfall methods Extensive experience in IT project management Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred Relevant certifications in project management will be an added advantage Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
